Los Angeles author Rick Johnson, founder of Divine Mind 1.2, has released I Hear You, Love: Building Your Child's Tool Kit from the Womb to the World, Book One of a new parenting series for new parents.
Los Angeles, United States, October 27, 2026 /PressCable/ -- LOS ANGELES, CA. Author Rick Johnson, founder of Divine Mind 1.2, has released Book One of a new parenting series about building a child's tool kit from the womb to the world, the first book in a new parenting series written for new parents, young or older.
The book begins with a simple image. A newborn's brain arrives like an empty tool kit, and parents begin filling it long before the first breath. From the womb onward, every voice, touch, and response hands a child another tool for the life ahead.
The Milestones as a Map
Johnson organizes the book around the milestones every parent watches for: rolling over, crawling, walking, and running. Each one becomes a metaphor for how children move through life, and for how parents can grow right alongside them. This first book follows a child from the womb through running. Later books in the series will follow as Johnson's own children grow up.
Pain Is Temporary
At the heart of the book is a phrase from Johnson's own family. When one of his children takes a fall, he kneels down, lets the child know they are heard, and gently reminds them that pain is temporary. Later, instead of repeating the lesson, he simply asks the child what the family says about pain, and lets the child answer it on their own.
That small exchange captures the approach of the whole book: acknowledge the feeling first, then help the child build the tools to carry themselves through it.
Real Family Stories
Johnson draws on stories from his own family throughout, shared with the approval of his children's mothers. Among them is the story of how, as he tells it, his youngest son's name came to him while the child was still in the womb.
Simple Family Practices
Although Johnson's other work centers on meditation, Book One keeps its practices simple and practical for busy households. Breathe slow. Take time. Admit the stress. Rest in the loving energy of the children. These short habits give parents a way to steady themselves before they respond.
Johnson describes the series as a three-book exploration of how the tool kits of the human brain are shaped, and how the wounds of the world can be lifted, one family at a time.

Book One is available now as an ebook from the Divine Mind 1.2 store on Whop: https://whop.com/ydmm/products/i-hear-you-love-ebook/
