VG Global Holdings are launching their new Asia-Pacific Emerging Markets Fund, which will focus on investing in companies within the MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) and the MSCI Frontier Markets Index.
The Fund will concentrate on large-, medium-, and small-cap companies which are assessed to have been undervalued but which have sound fundamentals and well-adjusted plans for expansion with minimum risk exposure.
The Fund will employ quantitative analysis of investment targets with deep value orientation in companies which have been riding a downturn in terms of stock valuation due to recent negative market conditions.
Director of Institutional Investments, Alasdair McGregor, said, "Due to the recent market volatility and general global downturn, we feel that there are many companies trading at a discount due to more risk-conscious investors. However, there are many companies which have progressive and risk-adjusted expansion plans and which we feel could ride out this downturn and offer positive returns in the medium- to long-term future."
The Fund will be offered primarily to institutional clients but will also be made available to any clients who are able to meet the minimum entry level requirements of $50,000 for Investor Share Class.
