Ministry announces massive hike assistance to NSFs for hosting international events

National Sports Federation (NSF) will now be entitled to financial support of up to ₹50 crore to organise international events. Previously, NSFs were allotted up to Rs two crore for the same. The revised scheme could provide assistance up to Rs 50 crore to conduct the National Games. The funds would go towards sports equipment, Timing, Scoring and Result (TSR) services, remuneration to technical officials and technical conduct.
