T20 Mumbai League's ninth franchise to represent Navi Mumbai region

The Mumbai Cricket Association has announced the expansion of the T20 Mumbai League to include a ninth franchise. The new team will represent the Navi Mumbai region and is operated by Aspects Sports. Franchise operating rights were sold for Rs 106.88 crores over six years, starting with Rs 12.21 crores for the first season.
