The Delhi High Court granted bail to Mohd Shahzal Kamal, an alleged member of a pro-ISIS group 'Harkat-ul-Harb-E-Islam,' in a case Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). According to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Kamal and the other co-accused entered into a criminal conspiracy to commit terrorist acts and wilfully abetted in providing funds for "jihadi activities" to the pro-ISIS group. He was arrested on August 31, 2021 in the NIA case registered in 2018
Christa Pike was convicted of killing 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer in Knoxville in 1995. Pike was 18 at the time. Prosecutors said Slemmer was taken to a wooded area, where she was tortured and killed.

Ohio's minimum wage for non-tipped employees will increase to $11.40 per hour from January 1, 2027. Tipped employees will see their minimum wage rise to $5.70, with tips being additional. This increase is part of a constitutional requirement linked to inflation rates. Businesses with annual gross receipts over $420,000 will be affected by this wage adjustment. The increase reflects the Consumer Price Index change over the previous year, as reported.
