UK’s ‘Poo Bus’ ran on human waste and food scraps. How five people’s annual waste fuels a 300 km journey

The UK launched the Bio-Bus, a 40-seat vehicle powered by biomethane made from human sewage and food waste in 2014. Operated between Bath and Bristol Airport, the bus could travel up to 300 km on a full tank, using fuel produced from the annual waste of around five people, according to GENeco.
