He claimed that despite holding around ₹12 lakh in stocks and funds and a ₹10 lakh corporate health insurance policy, he had only ₹18,000 available when his mother needed hospitalisation at 2 AM. He said he had to borrow money through UPI and use credit cards to arrange a ₹1.5 lakh advance deposit.
